Stress can creep up on you without you realizing, making you feel tired and irritable for no particular reason. And because we sometimes don’t know the cause of stress we can easily dismiss it.
Yet when you brush aside the signs and symptoms and even try and rationalize them away, your body is still feeling it. These are signs that something needs addressing.

EFT Tapping for Stress
When the body is out of whack due to a surge of excess stress chemicals EFT Tapping is extremely effective; it calms the body down quickly and we feel better.
During the tapping process relief from stress can be felt within minutes if not within seconds. This may be enough to resolve the stress you are feeling in the moment, however to fully release stress traumas from our past, further work is sometimes required to get to the real root of the issue.
For instance many of us have had experiences, particularly during our school years, of being criticized or made to feel silly. These emotional ‘memories’ sometimes remain active and we may form our beliefs about ourselves accordingly.
While we may consciously and intellectually look back and not think much of it now, an experience of being made to look silly does not always get forgotten. Without realizing it we can feel anxiety in situations that remind the part of the mind that stores these memories, of these past events. That part of your brain is called the amygdala and it’s job is to keep you safe.
Of course all this is often without your awareness and so you can experience stress and anxiety and not understand why. This is where Tapping comes in to free the emotional connection and restore balance in the body.
